Richard Noons
I used my first camera (a 110) on a school trip to the North Yorkshire Moors and my father said what ever you do don't take pictures indoors as there's no flash... and needless to say the images were pretty dark...
Soon after my first DSLR was a Zenit 12 XP. I had it for three years before I dropped it and broke the film ISO selector. As time past I moved into a foray of APS-C cameras which several met watery deaths until I got my first digital camera a Casio QV-4000 and then a Sony Cybershot.
With both I started to try and experiment with some of the features. I've got my Nikon D5100, which I've really tried to get the most of the past few years. More recently I've bought a Z6 which I am loving, reusing some of my F mount lens with the FTZ adapter, but the kit lens is superb. I've also got a Nikon P610 bridge camera, which I use more for a point and shoot, for it's ridiculous zoom (for the price). Recently I've gone full circle buying a Nikon F65 film camera on eBay.
After 10 years of visiting the lakes, we've finally made the move up here and I'm loving every minute.
I like to try to share my settings, workflow and experiences, I'm still learning all the time, so I hope you find this site useful.
